Over a year as a general manager in Herzeliya Medical Center exposed Erez to the commercial-operational world of medical devices and medicine such as business and infrastructures development. Yariv Bar-On is a senior optometrist and an entrepreneur, founder of the EBK procedure. Before establishing Orca Sugrical, he was the head optometrist of Assuta Optics and Head Optometrist & Laser technician in American Laser (Israel). During her time with Quintiles HQ in Raleigh, NC, Iris served as Global Vice President of Strategic Demand, providing service partnerships with a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, facilitating placement of >$115 million of annual sales.
Iris began her career within the healthcare industry at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, Focusing on Multi Drug Resistance Proteins research that contributed to the work of Professor Ada Yonath, a recent Nobel Prize winner for her investigation of ribosomal structure.

Edith brings to Orca Surgical of her military diplomatic experience of over 6 years – focusing on European and NATO relations in addition to policy analysis tasks in the IDF spokesperson. Her civilian career started by market research positions for Tel Aviv University’s entrepreneurship center (StarTau), Zoom-In research, advertising agencies and consulting companies. She holds a bachelor degree (B.A) in International Affairs from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and M.B.A in business administration from Bar-Ilan University.
